About Wendy Schnipper Clayton

Wendy Schnipper Clayton inspired a great number of people. You did not need to know her long to feel that you had met someone special. She lived a full, active and caring life including the 10 years during which she had ovarian cancer. She died at age 47, on Nov 29, 2010. Wendy met her husband, Aaron, at Brown University and they eventually settled in Lexington, Mass. where they raised their two wonderful daughters, Michal and Elianna. Wendy was a valedictorian of Roslyn High School in New York (‘81) and a magna cum laude graduate of both Brown University (‘85) and Harvard Law School (‘88). She clerked for the NH Supreme Clerk, was an associate at the Boston law firm of Goodwin Procter & Hoar, Senior Legal Counsel at Fidelity investments and for 14 years served as General Counsel of the investment company, DDJ Capital Management, where she began shortly after the company’s founding. Wendy was known for her effervescent, always present smile and dimples, her kindness, dedication to family, incredible mind, professionalism of the highest standard, and optimism. She was known for the graceful way she lived and treated others and for the modesty she had despite her many gifts and accomplishments. She was an incredible mom, spouse and friend, and is deeply missed by her family, friends, medical team and colleagues.
